what is it?
 caring capcity is the number of people that can be alowed to visit a destination at the same time without the destinatioon surfaring any negetive impacts on the enviroment and other factors. eg socio economic.
 the are two levels of caring capacity
the physical which stipulates how many people can be present at a destination at a time.
the perceptual which stipulate how much enjoyment can be found at a destination antil  tourists decide to go ealsewhere
the reason it was not successful
 caring capacity was asking the wrong question altogether it easnt about how many people can be in a destination without coursing some negetive impact but rader their behavior. HOW MUCH USE IS ACCEPTABLE
